Sebastian De Cabot Kelley, Calvin Jones, Isaac Jones, William Jones, and Preston Jones, all of Warren Co., TN, were in Eminence area, Newton Twp, Shannon County, MO,on the 1860 census.
Sebastian Kelley and family stayed in Eminence till after 1870. The Joneses left MO ca 1861. Children of Preston and Calvin were born in KY during the War years. After the war they returned to TN.
I was told that the Kelleys hid Jesse James in their attic. Is there anyone out there who can fill in the gaps related to this Jones family, particularly where they may have been in KY, during the War?
Thank you for any help
